This replica tomb includes an interactive touch-wall, a full-size interactive sarcophagus, and an immersive guided exploration that challenges kids to locate clues throughout the tomb—and, ultimately, to discover which pharaoh was buried there.
There is a lot of technology wrapped up in this tomb! As the producer for this experience, I led and coordinated the creative development, worked with fabricators to build the capacitive-touch, fiber-optic wall, planned the video shoot with celebrity Egyptologist, Dr. Zahi Hawass (while the Arab Spring Revolution was underway in Egypt), and oversaw the programming of the sarcophagus, the interactive touch screens, and show-controlled lighting and sound.
