Before the Kefauver hearings, Americans had no idea of the extent and depth of corruption of organized crime in the U.S. That changed when Senator Kefauver began televising hearings in cities all over the country. Mobsters squirmed under oath, some disappeared, others were killed before they could testify. Throughout it all, Americans were glued to their television sets.

This story of how America learned of the mob unfolds as a multi-screen immersive experience in the Las Vegas courtroom where it all went down in 1950. I was the primary contact for our clients and managed the creative development of the script, casting, and the studio production.

We also interviewed Nick Pileggi, screenwriter of the mob movie classics Goodfellas and Casino, about Hollywood’s depiction of the mob.
