A new gallery celebrates America’s industrial might with a wide range of media exhibits designed for younger digital audiences. The exhibits are rich with animation, archival footage, photography, soundscapes, and the voices of men and women united in the war effort.
As the producer, I managed the creative and technical development and production of six large-format animated maps; eight interactive stations that provide in-depth contextual detail of the island campaigns; eight oral history stations driven by an updatable content management system; and immersive soundscapes. Despite an extremely compressed production schedule, the exhibition’s gala opening on the anniversary of the invasion of Pearl Harbor was a huge success.
